Humana Helps You Protect Your Agent of Record Status

Questions related to protecting a book of business are common this time of year. One popular question is, “If my client initiates a plan change, will I remain the agent of record (AOR)?” 

Certain carriers are clear on their procedures. Humana has not only come out with an Agent of Record Pledge, they’ve also created a guide to help brokers protect their AOR status.

Which plan types are covered by the pledge?

  • All Humana and CarePlus MA, MAPD, and PDP plans

What types of changes are covered by the pledge?

  • Like-to-like plan changes (MA to MA, PDP to PDP)

When is the pledge applicable?

  • Member initiates a change through:
    • CMS.gov
    • HumanaMedicare.com
    • Humana telesales agent
