Help Your Humana Clients Change their Bill Payment Method

Every now and then, agents run into clients that have a desire to change the way they pay their monthly Medicare Advantage or Part D Prescription Drug Plan premium. The typical way to have someone take care of this is to call Humana's customer service department. However, in this age of websites and do-it-yourself seniors, the mission can be accomplished quite easily online. Here's a quick rundown of what your more computer and internet savvy clients can do:

  1. Go to www.humana.comHelp you clients change their Humana premium payment method

  2. Click on “Sign in or Register”

  3. Click on “Register Now”

  4. Click “Get Started”

  5. Fill in all of the required member information

  6. The member is now registered on myhumana.com and can use this site for many services

  7. Make sure you are logged in at www.myhumana.com

  8. Click the “eBilling” link at the top-middle section of the page

  9. Click “Make a Payment”

  10. On the next screen you'll have the option of selecting Social Security, Credit Card, or Bank Draft

Again, there is always the option of having your client call Humana Customer Service at (800) 992-2551. But having your clients engaged with Humana online and registered with myhumana.com can't hurt.
