Anthem/Amerigroup requires that you first take and pass the AHIP certification course including Fraud, Waste & Abuse.  There are 5 AHIP courses - only 4 & 5 need to be completed if you have been previously certified.  We recommend you review all 5 courses.    You will have 3 attempts to pas AHIP certification with a score of 90%

You will also need to take the 3 Fraud, Waste & Abuse modules and pass with a score of at least 70%

You can take the AHIP modules through the anthem certification site and receive a discounted rate of $125.  If you have already taken AHIP, it will recognize your completed AHIP certification when you enter your NPN.

After completing the AHIP modules successfully, you will be able to begin Anthem/Amerigroup  compliance and product training certification modules.

You will 3 attempts to complete certification with a score of 85% or better.
